Barcode scanners

1. Plug in a USB scanner (keyboard-wedge style works like typing into the search box).
2. Open POS and click the product search field.
3. Scan a barcode — the line item should add to the cart.
4. If nothing happens, confirm the product has that barcode saved and the cursor is in search.

Thermal receipt printers

1. Connect the printer (USB or network) and install the OS driver if required.
2. Select paper width 58mm or 80mm in print / receipt settings.
3. Complete a test sale and print the receipt.
4. Adjust header/footer text in the receipt template if the store name or return policy is missing.

Tips

• Keep spare paper rolls at the counter.
• Print a void/return sample during training so staff know both flows.
• For customer send-later, use WhatsApp/email from notifications instead of only paper.
