Karobar Point

Terms of Service

Last updated: October 24, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms govern your access to and use of Karobar Point — including the web application, the offline-capable desktop app, and, on Cloud plans, the ecommerce storefront. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

Karobar Point provides point-of-sale checkout, inventory control, purchasing, expense tracking, accounting-ready reporting, contacts/ledgers, roles & permissions, and multi-device/multi-branch support, in multiple languages and currency formats.

  • Free plan — core POS features to evaluate the product
  • Lifetime plan — one-time purchase for desktop use, including offline checkout and Cloud backup where applicable
  • Cloud plan — adds web access, multi-branch sync, and the ecommerce storefront

3. Accounts & Workspaces

You are responsible for providing accurate registration details and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and any team member accounts created under your workspace. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including sales, purchases, and other records entered by your staff.

4. Your Data

You retain ownership of the business data you enter — products, inventory, sales, purchases, expenses, customers, and suppliers. You are responsible for the accuracy of that data and for complying with any tax, accounting, or record-keeping laws that apply to your business. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle this data.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for fraudulent transactions or to misrepresent sales, inventory, or financial records
  • Attempt unauthorized access to another workspace, account, or our infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the software outside your licensed use
  • Upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content, or attempt to disrupt the service (including the desktop app or offline sync)

6. Desktop App & Licensing

Lifetime and desktop-enabled plans grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the desktop app on devices associated with your workspace, subject to any device limits stated on your plan. Offline checkout data syncs once connectivity is restored; you are responsible for backing up local devices where Cloud backup is not enabled.

7. Billing & Plans

Paid plans are billed according to the plan selected at checkout (one-time for Lifetime, recurring for Cloud subscriptions where offered). Taxes may apply where required by law. Because the Free plan lets you evaluate the full desktop product first, paid plans are final once activated; see our Refund Policy for details.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability of the web and Cloud services but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The desktop app is designed to keep core checkout functions working offline, but features requiring connectivity (such as Cloud sync or the ecommerce storefront) require an internet connection.

9. Intellectual Property

Karobar Point, its logo, and the software are our intellectual property. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the platform to you; you receive only the rights expressly granted here.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or activity that risks the security or integrity of the platform or other users.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Karobar Point is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost profits, data, or business interruption — arising from use of, or inability to use, the service.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
