Help / Getting started
How to set up POS software
Create your workspace, add products, configure staff, and complete your first sale — usually in about 15 minutes.
1. Create your account
Register with your email, verify it, then complete onboarding for company info and plan selection.
- Open Register and create an account with a working email address.
- Verify your email from the confirmation message.
- Complete onboarding: business name, currency preferences, and starting plan (Free is fine to evaluate).
2. Add products
Your catalog powers POS, inventory, and purchases. Start with a few high-velocity items.
- Open Products and create SKUs with name, selling price, and optional barcode.
- Add categories/brands to keep the catalog searchable.
- Use variants when you sell sizes, colors, or other attributes.
- Confirm stock quantities at the warehouse you will sell from.
3. Invite staff & set roles
Keep cashiers focused on POS while managers access inventory, purchases, and reports.
- Invite teammates from Users / Roles.
- Give cashiers POS-only access.
- Keep accounting, expenses, and billing limited to owners/managers.
4. Run a test sale
Open POS and complete a practice checkout before a live shift.
- Search or scan a product into the cart.
- Optionally attach a customer contact.
- Choose cash, card, or split tender and complete the sale.
- Print a thermal receipt (58mm/80mm) or open the digital document if configured.
What to do next
After the first sale, thicken the setup for daily operations.
- Add suppliers and create a purchase to receive stock.
- Set reorder points for items that sell out often.
- Review Free vs Lifetime vs Cloud if you need WhatsApp, LAN, or ecommerce.
- Read the Sales & POS and Inventory guides for day-two depth.
